Q: What happened to Gordon-Piatt? 
A:
The John Zink Company, LLC decided to discontinue production of Gordon-Piatt burners in 2009.  No reason for the discontinuation was ever released. Cici Boiler Rooms was a factory-authorized Gordon-Piatt representative for 44 years until 2009 when John Zink officially decided to discontinue production of Gordon-Piatt products.  Cici Boiler Rooms keeps a special inventory of parts for Gordon-Piatt burners.  However, Cici Boiler Rooms is currently not affiliated in any way with the John Zink company. 

Q:  Are Gordon-Piatt parts still available?
A: 
Even though new burners are no longer being produced, most repair parts are still available.  Contact us to check the availability of the parts you are looking for. 

Q:  Can you answer questions about my burner?
A: 
Our parts department is available to answer basic questions about the replacement parts we sell.  We also have manuals available for free on our website's manuals pageHowever, we do not have service technicians available to provide technical support over the phone.   For detailed troubleshooting, we recommend that you contact a qualified service contractor in your area.

Q:  Do you ship outside of the United States?

Most of our parts are available for international shipment.  Please direct all international inquires to sales@ciciboilers.com 

Q:  Can I set up a Net 30 account with Cici Boiler Rooms?
A: 
All orders must be prepaid or placed with a credit card.  After a minimum six month purchase history, we may consider extending a line of credit for certain high volume customers.

The John Zink Company, LLC decided to discontinue production of Gordon-Piatt burners in 2009.  No reason for the discontinuation was ever released. The factory's sales records, material lists, drawings, and tooling were never sold.
